Eduard's Weekend Edition kit recreates the MiG-21F-13, an early production version of the Soviet supersonic fighter, at 1/48 scale. It includes Eduard plastic parts and decals for five aircraft from Czechoslovakia, Israel, Egypt and Poland. Photo-etched parts, masks and resin components are not included.

The MiG-21F-13 entered production in 1960. This compact delta-wing fighter used a Tumansky R-11F-300 afterburning turbojet, carried one 30 mm NR-30 cannon and could use two K-13 infrared-guided air-to-air missiles. NATO designated the version Fishbed-C.
